Hi everyone! It's not every day that I get to share a beauty launch on my blog, and especially one that is created by a fellow (insanely more wildly successful and consistent) blogger - ZOELLA!
And on TOP OF THAT, it's not every day that I can also feature a giveaway that is Canadian only (sorry to all my international readers! I'll make it up to you soon, I promise!) So read on and find out what you have the chance to win!
First? Meet Zoella!
Zoella aka Zoe, for those of you who may not know is a YouTube superstar who has been sharing her love for style and beauty since 2009! She's currently one of the biggest YouTubers in the UK and currently gets about 50 million views per month on her two YouTube accounts, of which she has over 15 million subscribers. 😵😵😵 Her home is lust-worthy, she's totally relatable and funny, and I love catching up with her videos, she's like an old friend. You know, your really excitable British friend who spends way too much money at Boots.
On top of being a wildly successful blogger, vlogger and beauty creator, Zoella is a digital ambassador for the mental health charity MIND, and an author of a YA trilogy, Girl Online, of which the third installment is coming out this November! The first novel in the series was the fastest selling book of 2014 and broke the record for highest first week sales for a debut author since records began, at least, according to Wikipedia. Not too shabby!
Zoella Beauty
While creating her signature beauty collection, Zoella was inspired to create a collection to help people feel pretty, but also to relax and recharge. Rather than creating eyeshadow or lipstick, instead she focused on skincare and bath products with a specially created fragrance that's guaranteed to chill you right out. (Spoiler alert - I loved it.)
Now that her beauty collection is finally coming across the pond, I was very happy to get to test some stuff out myself! And the best part? One lucky reader will also be able to test out some of her products and win a copy of her second book as well!
My Products for Review
Zoella Beauty Blissful Mistful Solid Fragrance
It's no secret, I LOVE solid fragrances. Regular perfumes are hit and miss with me, but I've rarely had a reaction with a solid and they are SO PORTABLE so when you have a 12 hour day you can quickly redab and smell fabulous. The Blissful Mistful solid has a really neat smell of white flowers, vanilla and jasmine, and is a really bright, uplifting fragrance you can wear all day. Also it's a heart with a lace pattern around the edge. Very cute, very Zoella. Sold.
Damage? $9.99!
Zoella Beauty Wonder Hand Cream
I absolutely love hand creams. I don't know if it's because I type a lot, do my nails a lot, or spend a lot of time in a dry office building, but my hands are ALWAYS desperate for moisture so I go through multiple tubes, pots, and pumps a year. I can never have enough. BUT ANYWAY, this Wonder Hand Cream has a really nice, clean and light floral smell, similar to the Blissful Mistful fragrance, but it's also enriched with Shea Butter, Aloe and Vitamin E so it sinks in nicely into my hands and leaves a pleasant, but not overwhelming texture after it's absorbed. Just like the solid fragrance, this hand cream also feels VERY on brand, I'm really impressed that these products actually look like something I'd see sitting on a shelf in one of her vids. Well done.
Damage? $9.99!
