When people talk about spring cleaning, is it weird that I ALWAYS think about clearing up my digital files too? Case in point, I was emptying my memory card in my camera to prepare for an event this weekend when I came across this lovely, oceanic blue that I took photos last summer! (I mean, look, it's green outside!) With the first days of spring and the last days of March remaining as cold as the beginning of March, I was happy to see this bright colour on my memory card.
As I posted last week, I'm a huge fan of Revlon's Parfumerie line of nail polishes. The tiny, accurate brushes, the curious scents and the adorable bottles wormed their way into my heart and I'm on a quest to pick up every one of them that I can find! Now, let's go back, way back to the scents and sights of summer and to the fond memories of Revlon's Surf Spray!
I think the reason I hesitated sharing these images was because my cuticles were a MESS. I've spared you the awfulness and roughly edited them out, but they were in poor, poor shape when I took the pictures. Luckily, the colour speaks for itself and is bright enough to warrent sharing.
This blue, like many of the Revlon Parfumerie line, is a consistent two-coater. If you like more transparent nail, it has a neat jelly-texture with one coat, but with two it has this gorgeous, metallic/foil-like shine. And the scent, THE SCENT of this polish reminds me of summer florals, the kind of flowers found on vines that creep up on trees.
Aaach, here I am talking about summer and spring has yet to fully arrive. Sigh. Until next time.
Do you have any favourite polishes from the Revlon Parfumerie line?
