BzzAgent Review: Secret Clinical Clear Gel
Time to take a break from our regularly scheduled posts about beauty and makeup on the outside, to tackle something that affects us all but is a LITTLE more invisible. That's right, I'm making a transparency joke about Secret Clinical Clear Gel, a product I received for review this month from BzzAgent. I'm a regular Jerry Seinfeld!
Now let's get down to business. The business of keeping clean, dry and clear! I'm a girl who spent most of her life using and loathing solids, because I never believed that gels could actually stay dry on my body. Thankfully I was wrong.
I've actually been using and repurchasongSecret's Outlast Clear Gel since I reviewed it in February, but the Clincal line is a different intensity all together. Instead of flowery or cloyingly sweet smells, this Clinical gel comes in a very simple 'Completely Clean' scent. While it's not unscented, it's pretty close.
Generally, I'm a huge fan of Secret's Clear Gel line because the products go on slick and dry rather quickly, I NEVER have to worry about leaving residue on my shirt, and I find that the product lasts all day. I would caution against wearing this gel with any shirts, blouses or dresses that are made of primarily synthetic materials as it doesn't seem to play nice with those fabrics. But otherwise, cotton, silk, it keeps me from worrying about my clothes!
I also found that the Secret Clinical Clear Gel only took my body a few days to acclimate to. Sometimes when I'm switching from one brand to another, it can take awhile to adjust, but this stuff started working perfectly rather quickly. Bonus!
The product claims to be 4x stronger than standard antiperspirants, I'm not sure if that's something I can test for, but it's definitely stronger than their Outlast line. I have yet to test it under extreme activity like running a 5k or participating in a sport, but it's done well lasting through 12-14 hour days on my feet so that's good enough for me!
FYI, still mad that women get a significantly smaller product compared to men. It's just one of the many ways that women are sneakily charged more money than men for basic neccessities.
Full disclosure: I received this product for review by BzzAgent. All opinions above are my own.
