2014 was the year of the Beauty Box! At one point I had THREE subscriptions going to Beauty Box 5, Topbox and Julep. But how easily we fall out of love with those temperamental subscriptions, as I've cancelled all of the above and only taken ONE subscription into the new year with me — Birchbox Canada. All September as I waited and watched people open their Beauty Box 5 subscriptions, I felt this sense of... numbness? I wasn't really impressed with the products, and I felt that a lot of the other blog posts I was reading were acting so fake in their appreciation for, frankly, what looked like a few dollar store items tossed into a box.

Close your windows, pack away the patio furniture and put your sandals away. August is on its way out - at least in Ontario! And unfortunately this means that fun summer products come to an end as well. Now it's time to 'transition into fall' as the Beauty Box Five says, with "Radiant and Remarkable" products.
But arae they that radiant... or remarkable? We'll see!
