Eat Sleep Polish - Intuition Swatch
To get over the winter doldrums in January I made an order at Eat Sleep Polish for some vibrant, lovely new pretties!
But Danielle, weren't you on a no-buy in January?
Technically yes, but it's only because Caterina re-released almost the entire Gemstone Spellbook, that's why!
In each month in 2014, there was a new unique polish Eat Sleep Polish released every month and for a very short period of time. I only managed to pick up a few nail from this collection this year and really regretted missing a few specific polishes. But when they were re-released for a short period of time, I committed to buying them. Despite my no-buy, I hustled and sold some makeup and a purse in order to snag all that I wanted!
Here's what I got:
Sticky Paws, a latex-based nail art skin protector for water marbling, stamping, etc.
Intuition - This is the final piece in the Gemstone Spellbook (you can still buy it!) This gorgeous gold-flaked turquoise polish just grabs the eye, as you'll see below.
Truth - A deep, husky aquamarine polish with just enough holo to sparkle in the sun.
Regeneration - A gorgeously deep blood-ruby-red glitter polish? Yes please!
Clarity - I didn't think anything of this polish but after using it (thanks to Keri at Oh My Swatch) I realized how richly pigmented this polish was and I HAD TO HAVE IT.
I think I was really drawn to this colour because it basically matches the logo to Darling Magpie! Blues and greens, especially 'in between' colours like teal and turquoise are some of my favourites, and this one adds that hint of intensity with the gold and taupe flakes just really bring the polish alive! It also reminds me of the summer, of sandals, beaches, floral prints and sunshine.
Luckily you can still purchase this polish at Eat Sleep Polish and I recommend that you do so! Don't miss out!
Also, check this out, I'm already achieving one of my Beauty Resolutions! Better nail care and better swatches. Unfortunately I broke two nails since I took these photos, so a swatch of Truth will just have to wait.
