Covet Clique: Christmas Wishlist Edition

It feels weird to do a wishlist so close to Christmas. Heck, it feels weird to do a wishlist at all! My boyfriend and I don't really do presents and I'm too old to get things from my family. With the exception of one Christmas swap that I'm currently working my way through, I don't expect much.

That doesn't mean I'm not going to buy stuff for myself, however! Here are the things I'm coveting right now.

For the past few years I've become a big fan of the oversized purse. I have a Dooney & Burke bag that I adore, a few leather-goodies from Danier and an assortment of other totes that I 'shoulder' with some regularity. The only thing I don't have is a grown-up backpack. Sure I've got some lightweight bags from Mec which work in a pinch, but I need something study and winterproofed that I can use to ease tension from my shoulders (my massage therapist will be pleased). And I think I found it.

Herschel Supply is a Canadian company based on Vancouver, which in 5 short years has come to supply Canadians from all over with their stylish and durable backpacks. Bye bye Jansport, hello Herschel! They offer a wide variety of styles, sizes and prints and after weeks of deliberating I decided this very Canadian style was the one for me.

Damage? $65 from Herschel Supply (Also found at Hudson's Bay)

Now, despite being a beauty blogger and a beauty addict, I don't own very much in the way of high-end eyeshadow. I have one small set from Benefit, a palette from Pur Minerals and assorted single shadows here and there. While I've toyed with the idea of getting one of Urban Decay's Naked sets, I've shied away. But here's something they make that was tailored to me!

Urban Decay - Naked on the Run

Urban Decay - Naked on the Run

This is a fantastic set that offers five of the highly pigmented and gorgeous eyeshadows that the Naked sets are known for (in chocolately and metallic colours that are totally winter appropriate) along with a blush/bronzer duo, Uban Decay's Ultra Nourishing Gloss a rosey-pink shimmer, a small Perversion mascara and their classic 24/7 Glide-On eye pencil. It has everything you need for a quick look on the 'run' and I think I might just pick one up.

Damage? $64 at Sephora

And despite the weather outside being less than ideal for this jacket, my old Danier jacket is wearing thin and needs a replacement. I wouldn't even think to try another retailer for it, I've liked my Danier's so much, and now finally there's a biker jacket that I adore!

Danier - Charlene Heavy Textured Lamb Leather Biker

I really like the structured shoulders of this coat and the neatly tailored lines in the back. It definitely looks like it'd complement my frame and the NECK IS THE BEST. I desperately want this coat and will stalk it at the next Danier Outlet Sale (where i get my best finds, mind you.

Damage? $249... for now.

And last but not least, I need a new tumbler. I took a MAJOR fall down my street this week, completely flying into the sidewalk at such a speed that I gave myself whiplash, stained the sidewalk WITH MY COAT, and banged up my knees so bad that they are twice the size they should be normally. Owie. But I also BROKE MY STARBUCKS TUMBLER which I've had for years! Thus, a new one is required. I've whittled it down to these (but I will accept other suggestions!)

Starbucks vs Davids Tea!

The Davids Tea option is an ADORABLE wintery village! Both of these are also stainless steel so it's an upgrade from my clunky plastic tumbler (as cute as it was) But I already have a tea-specific traveler so I don't need a second. The Starbucks one is adorable and reminds me of a cute t-shirt I have and a glassware set in my house. It might be the winner!

Damage? Russian Nesting Dolls - $22, Wintery Village - $14.50

What are you lusting for this Christmas? Do you have a wishlist too?
